Yo is a guitarist and composer of Latin and electronic sounding music.
He plays tunes of Rumba, Bossa, Swing, Waltz or Bolero, with accents inspired by Django Reinhardt or Paco de Lucia, all with a little chill electro background.
Yo come from two regions of France: Occitany (in the south) and Brittany (in the west). So, the musical influences are diverse: flamenco, gypsy jazz, electro or Celtic music. Today, he is part of a jazz collective Openswing for jam sessions around Django Reinhardt standards. At the same time, he has been trained in the true art of flamenco guitar with the composer and performer Manuel Delgado, in Paris.
Evolving in the world of digital design, he tries to give a more futuristic character to acoustic music, while trying to maintain its authenticity. His pieces are experiments, in which acoustic guitars mingle with very retro arpeggiating synths.
